The objective of this research was to analyze the effectiveness of two educational techniques to the parents or guardians of children attending the Clinic of Dentistry, Universidad Latina. The results determined that the demonstration was a better technical understanding (comprehension) and an improvement in oral hygiene of children in which was applied demonstrative technique.
