Resumen

Se presentan los diferentes tipos de membranas utilizadas en cavidad oral reabsorvibles y no reabsorvibles, así como algunas características de cada una. Se recomienda el uso de membranas reabsorvibles del tipo colágeno cross link, dado que han demostrado ser confiables y permiten exposición intencional o casual.
