EDITORIAL
Abstract
The certification of the quality in the university programs
became an imperious necessity for the Costa
Rican society.
Through the law of the Republic, the National System
for the Accreditation of Higher Education (SINAES)
has been created, which also has an instrumental legal
personality, as dictated by the Attorney General’s
Office.
The initial combination of the efforts of four public
and four private universities, (and Universidad Latina
de Costa Rica being among these founders of
SINAES)
