The buccal fat pad is an anatomical structure that is well defined in the orofacial region and is associated
with the masticatory muscles. Bichectomy or removing the buccal fat pad (BFP) is a very simple intervention,
minimally invasive and fully ambulatory. This operation refines facial features and accentuates cheekbones
achieving more defined facial contours.
