Abstract

The presence of one or various impacted teeth is a situation that complicates the orthodontic treatment and leads to risky clinical decisions; in order to provide the patient with an aesthetic appearance and an adequate functional relationship, always preserving the integrity of the tooth and adjacent perioral tissue; this being the biggest challenge when planning treatment. This article presents the clinical case of a central superior incisor impacted on a 7 year old patient, which was located in a natural position inside the arch, using a modified lingual anchorage, in the inferior arch.
