Tobacco, covid-19 and vaping in dentistry
Abstract
Every health professional should have as a goal in their daily work, to promote excellent quality of life for their patients, but this premise also includes their own health. They must educate by example and Dentistry is no exception to this reality.
Tobacco consumption, which until a few years ago was widely spread among the Costa Rican population, has decreased in relative terms, but current behavioral trends mean that the dangers to the health of the population remain or even worse, are clearly increasing.
