Humanism centered dentistry
Abstract
Humanism as an ethical and philosophical foundation applied to Dentistry visualizes the patient in his true human dimension, as the center of the actions that the dentist must execute to fulfill his ethical-professional responsibilities, to which the practice of dentistry must always be subject.
Although the great technological advances and scientific innovations are the driving force of modern practice that drives the daily work of the dentist and the consumer society promotes lifestyles in accordance with these new dynamics, the well-being and health of the patient must remain a priority in professional responsibilities.
