Academic Journal Gaudeamus: New Pillars
Vol. 1 No. 1 (2025)After a pause resulting from an internal reorganization of the journal’s structure, as well as the implementation of new dynamics, we are pleased to present this special edition. Breaking with the tradition that, for a long time, the published articles were exclusively related to the field of International Relations, we are proud to include a valuable contribution from another discipline, written by Psychology students.
We also take this opportunity to announce that this restart will bring the incorporation of more engaging dynamics, along with further reforms, with the goal of consolidating this journal as a recognized platform for the dissemination of knowledge and critical thinking.
We would like to thank all those who submitted their articles and encourage our readers to send in their own contributions in the future, which we will gladly review for publication.

Gaudeamus 2022
Vol. 1 No. 1 (11)Human Rights have been generalized in a thematic way, preventing to deepen in aspects that afflict the countries and, with it, the public policies with which the governments intend to serve them. In 2021, the International Symposium on Human Rights organized by the International Office and the School of International Relations of the Universidad Latina de Costa Rica, covered the topics of Education and Governance as such.
Eight specialists from six universities from different countries set out to clarify how any damage to these two social areas can violate human dignity and therefore Human Rights. In this issue we present four intellectual productions from different Latin American universities.
