Reseñas bibliográficas
Objective:
The book review section aims to provide critical and reflective analyses of recent academic works in the field of each thematic area specified in each Call for Proposals. The goal is to encourage debate and discussion on issues relevant to our academic community.
Types of Works to Be Reviewed:
Reviews of books, articles, reports, and other academic publications relevant to the field of Humanities and Social Sciences are accepted. Works must have been published within the last 6 years and include a justified analysis of the current context.
Review Format:

Length: Reviews must not exceed 8,000 words.

Structure: It is recommended to include a brief introduction, a short biography of the reviewer (maximum 300 words), a summary of the work, a critical analysis, and a conclusion.

Citations: The most recent edition of APA citation guidelines must be followed.
Submission Process:
Reviews must be submitted through the journal’s manuscript management system at Envíos | Gaudeamus (ulatina.ac.cr) or via email to revistaulatina@gmail.com, with the subject line: Book Review and its title.
Evaluation:
All reviews will undergo peer review.
Confidentiality:
All reviews will be treated confidentially until publication.
Copyright:
By submitting a review, the author grants the journal the rights for publication and distribution. Authors are encouraged to keep a copy of their work for their records.
Originality Policy:
Reviews must be original and not previously published on any other platform. Plagiarism detection tools will be used.
