Abstract

This bibliographic review is presented to us by students of the International Relations Theory class. They carried out a detailed analysis of the work Heart of Darkness (1899), exploring it from different angles of International Relations. The review addresses critiques of imperialism and colonialism, as well as reflections on global inequality and the possibility of extrapolating readings to current realities.

This review was prepared by the students; Kristel Alina Barrios Serrano, Michelle Corella Zúñiga; Nissy Duarte González, Marcela González Miranda, Nelson Eduardo Montero Fallas, Emmarie Obando Chávez, and Nicole Serrano Chanto. The students were guided by Daniel López Zúñiga, director of the International Relations program, who served as the compiler of the work.
