Abstract

The burns caused by electricity are accidents associated to the urbanization and industrial development processes. The advances in Medicine and rehabilitation have mitigated the impact on the affected people’s life quality. The attention protocols involve the physical therapist in all stages due to the necessity of carrying on an early intervention of the physical needs to achieve a successful reintegration to the social and working life. This investigation expects to offer teaching methodological tools to develop skills and competences. These competences are used for the Physiotherapeutic Evaluation of the user’s functionality as a mechanism to support the prevention of physical sequels and the restriction of their independence.
