Human Rights have been generalized in a thematic way, preventing to deepen in aspects that afflict the countries and, with it, the public policies with which the governments intend to serve them. In 2021, the International Symposium on Human Rights organized by the International Office and the School of International Relations of the Universidad Latina de Costa Rica, covered the topics of Education and Governance as such.

Eight specialists from six universities from different countries set out to clarify how any damage to these two social areas can violate human dignity and therefore Human Rights. In this issue we present four intellectual productions from different Latin American universities.
