In a classic analysis, Branham (2004) reported the relationship between environment and desertion. In Costa Rica, the year dropout rates remain relatively constant with an average of 11.67% of dropouts. The study’s objective was to identify the goods and services that need to be repaired or constructed immediately, based on the opinion of users and specialists (Engineering Students) .The method was based on a contrast analysis about the importance and satisfaction of students´ opinions supported with the assessments of specialists (Civil Engineering Students). In the population of 1289 students, the random sample was determined to be 296 students. The results indicate that the method allows to establish a correlation between the views of both groups, and also to identify areas that need to be considered for being repaired. Besides that, the users are interested in security, health, and easy solution furniture. The study was carried on at a single school, so the method needs to be validated in more units.
