Vol. 5, Num. 1 (2023)
The Journal of Ecology and Sustainable Development serves as an ideal platform for the dissemination of knowledge across diverse fields of study. While the term 'Ecology' in the journal's title might lead one to believe that it exclusively covers topics related to biology and the environment, nothing could be further from the truth. Sustainable development represents a philosophical framework seeking to integrate various realms of human knowledge to comprehend, enhance, and propel development across social, economic, and environmental axes. This issue features a single manuscript in the form of a scientific article, focusing on the overexploitation of fishing and the use of artisanal fishing methods.
